Songwriter. Born Manuel José Galván Vilches, during his musical beginnings he moved to Madrid to join the group "Sonors", later in Málaga he joined the group "Gritos", but soon decided to pursue a solo career in 1970. During his long career he recorded approximately 40 albums, with songs like "Poema del alma", "Deja de llorar", "Te quise, te quiero y te querré", "Hijo de Ramera", "¿Por qué te marchas, abuelo?", "Solo pienso en ti" y "Suspiros de amante", among many others. Some of its most famous albums are: "Mis inquietudes", "Te quise, te quiero y te querré", "Mi única razón", "Esperando el amanecer", "El ganador", "Una copa conmigo", "Cada mujer un templo", "Amame", "Me llaman el calavera", "Un caballo azul", "Pasajero de la noche", "El amor de mi vida", "Recuerdos", "Alumbra, alumbrando" and the last from 2005: "Clásicos inolvidables". In 1972 during a Latin American tour, he arrived in Argentina for the first time, and its theme "¿Por qué te quiero tanto?" became an huge hit. He starred in a dozen festivals in Spain and participated several times in the International Song Festival of Viña del Mar, Chile. In 1981 he decided to settle permanently in Argentina, the latinamerican place where had a greater success. In 2006 he make a farewell tour and announcing his final retirement from the stage.
